Ownership FAQs

The length of the licence agreement offered is determined by the size and condition of the caravan. New holiday home from the date of purchase: A brand-new caravan style unit has a 15-year licence. The larger lodge style units have a licence of 25 years. Used holiday homes: When a used holiday home is purchased, the date the unit was first purchased is used to determine the length of the licence agreement. This is the unexpired period remaining on the original offered licence when first purchased.

We are open 12 months of the year, January to December. In that time, you can use your caravan for a maximum of 6 weeks with a 2-week break before your next use.

The caravans are not for residential use and cannot be used as a postal address.

Yes, however, this is subject to an additional agreement between you and the park. You are required to show that the caravan is safe by documented annual safety checks, portable appliance testing, electrical testing and gas safety certificates. All hirers must comply with the rules of the park.

Yes, they are. A maximum of two dogs are allowed and must be kept on leads at all times when walking around the Cobbleacre grounds.

New holiday home: Currently, we only have plots available for a traditional caravan holiday home. You can choose from any new Willerby holiday home, however, if you have seen another brand of caravan you like, we can have a look into sourcing it for you. Used holiday home: As well as new holiday homes, we are able to offer preowned homes at a tempting price tag. Currently, we have 2 used holiday homes available.
